March and April Empties

I finished a bumper lot of empties in March and April with some firm favourites.
THE NATURAL DEO CO LEMON AND GERANIUM

I've used up a couple of samples of this deodorant and really liked it. Highly effective and smells great.

BOTANICALS FOOT SCRUB LEMONGRASS AND TEA TREE

Lovely scrub from one of my favourite brands. See my review here

PURE PURPOSE DEO LEMON BREEZE

One of my current favourite deodorants and I've just bought another one. Highly recommended!

EVOLVE BEAUTY RAINFOREST RESCUE BLEMISH SERUM

This beauty was launched last year at Evolve and I've got a review coming soon.

LUCKY CLOUD CLEANSING BALM

I've used this little balm quite a lot because it always seems to crop up in beauty boxes. Read my review here

NEAL'S YARD WHITE TEA FACIAL MIST

This was a gift from my friend Julie and I'm embarrassed to say it, my first ever try of Neal's Yard! Did I like it? I loved it. And it smells gorgeous.

NAKIN LIP TREATMENT BALM

I received this in a Skin Organics Beauty Box last year and mainly used this on my son during winter as he had horrendously chapped lips. It did a fantastic job and I'd recommend it to anyone needing an intensive treatment (in combination with using a scrub). It's not vegan as it contains beeswax.

ANITA GRANT COCONUT ROSEWOOD DRY OIL

Another Skin Organics find, this lovely oil was fantastic after a shower and such a lovely bottle with the little rosebud inside. I wouldn't use it again though as I'm not a huge fan of the smell of rosewood.

BESPOKE AROMA RELAX, DESTRESS AND UNWIND ROLLERBALL

I reviewed this night time essential here. Bespoke Aroma were one of my finds of 2018.

MYROO FACIAL CLEANSER

I've previously tried a sample of this lovely oil and got another one from the lovely Julie. Myroo can't go wrong in my eyes.

NATURA SIBERICA OBLEPIKHA HAND CREAM

I loved this hand cream. Read my review here

BLOOM REMEDIES SERENITY SLUMBER HAND AND BODY WASH

My body wash of 2018, this relaxing product, perfect for night time, was featured in the Natural Beauty Box last year. Read my review here

LUCKY CLOUD SUPER BALM

Another lovely balm from Lucky Cloud, I kept this one in my work bag and used it on dry bits during the day. Some of my colleagues used it too and loved it. See my review here

WELEDA BABY CALENDULA SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH

I bought this one for my five year old as all his skincare is natural and cruelty-free. He suffers with dry skin but his eczema, which I've documented at this blog before, hasn't flared up in a while. This was my first try of Weleda's baby range and I liked it a lot. It was rich and creamy and left his skin moisturised.

BAO REVIVING HAND AND BODY CREAM

Another stonking product from the Natural Beauty Box. I've tried a few of Bao's stuff now and they're all good. Read my review here

YES TO BLUEBERRIES BODY WASH

This is my second body wash from Yes To and while the ingredients are not as green as they could be, I do like this but I probably wouldn't get it again.

COCOROSA BEAUTY CLEANSING OIL
This was the first of 2 products from new to me brand Cocorosa Beauty in February's Skin Organics Beauty Box. The cleansing oil was beautiful, wonderfully scented with neroli and so soothing and moisturising. I'd use this again like a shot.

COCOROSA BEAUTY SUPERFRUIT 3 IN 1 CLEANSING POWDER

This was a novelty - a cleansing powder. I didn't like the smell much but I did like using it as a second step after the lovely oil.

BOTANY BLEND MERU FACE OIL

This beautiful sample came in a Skin Organics Beauty Box last year and it's something really special. Containing prickly pear, sacha inchi and neroli, it's a thick golden oil that's so comforting and moisturising on the skin and does well under make-up. The full size retails at £32, however there are 10ml sample sizes. I actually prefer that companies sell their face oils in smaller sizes as it always takes me so long to use up 30ml.

LAID BARE SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

This epic spot treatment lasted me over a year and I've just bought another one. Unlike other treatments you can use this one under your skincare and make-up as just another step in the morning with no horrid residue. It's also gentle and doesn't make your face fall off.

  1. It's good to see another person loving The Natural Deodorant company. I have a small sample of their clean deodorant balm at home which I am yet to try. I am taking it with me on holiday this week so let's see how I get on! I haven't heard of Pure Purpose deodorants before though. Which one do you prefer and why?

    1. I've only tried the lemon breeze and I probably won't try another 'flavour' because I love lemons so much! It's so soft and easy to apply and keeps you really fresh.
