November Love Lula Picks

These are the three products I picked from Love Lula this month.

ANTIPODES KIWI SEED OIL EYE CREAM
My first Antipodes product and it won't be the last! This silky eye cream goes on like a dream. It feels cooling and light and is fine to wear under make-up as well as at night. My undereyes (not a word I know, lol) feel revitalised since I started using this and I can see this is going to become a firm favourite. A note must be made about the sheer size of this bad boy. While most eye creams seem to come in 10 or 15ml sizes, this one is a whopping 30ml. I've been using it a month and barely made a dent so for £24.99 you are definitely getting your money's worth.
INGREDIENTS: Aqua (water), Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol (coconut derived), cetearyl wheat straw glycosides, stearic acid (vegetable), glyceryl stearate, tocopherol (Vitamin E), Daucus carota sativa (carrot seed) oil, Actinidia chinensis (kiwifruit seed) oil, Borago officinalis (borage) oil, gluconolactone, sodium benzoate, calcium gluconate, Vitis vinifera (Vinanza® Grape grape seed) extract.

PHB ETHICAL BEAUTY PRESSED MINERAL FOUNDATION
I struggle to find foundations, basically because of my unearthly shade of pale. I was fairly confident that PHB would come through for me though because I have their gorgeous BB cream. When this arrived I thought it definitely looked a bit orange in the pan, but to my surprise it was a perfect match.
I apply this using one of my oval brushes. It has good coverage but does need to be blended well over my not-so-fine forehead wrinkles as it does have a tendency to sit in them. Also a good oil under my moisturiser is a must to avoid the foundation clinging to any dry patches. When I get everything right, it really does make my skin look mighty fine, which is a feat in itself. Highly recommended and let's not forget it has a SPF of 30 too.
Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Silica, Boron Nitride, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba), Caprylic/capric triglyceride.

BALM BALM HIBISCUS MASK
This isn't the most convenient face mask I've ever had. It comes as a powder which you have to reconstitute with water. Which I knew before I ordered, so can't complain. After a false start where I went over board on the water, I managed to get a working paste. I've yet to perfect this though and usually end up faffing about adding water bit by bit. Once it's on though, it dries quickly. My skin isn't particularly sensitive but I did notice that when I went over the allotted time, I did start to feel a little uncomfortable so I started to stick to the ten minutes stated on the tub.
After using this mask, my skin feels very soft and nourished. It's not something you can just slap on but it does have good results, as all Balm Balm's products do.
Ingredients: Oryza Sativa Powder, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Powder, Pelagonium Graveolens.
