Recent Love Lula Picks

I recently tried out these fabulous products from Love Lula.

HERBFARMACY JUST EYE CREAM

This was the first vegan zero waste eye cream I had ever come across as most tend to be packaged in dropper bottles or plastic tubes and it appears Herbfarmacy are now packaging all their products in glass and metal, so good on them.
This boasts eye-loving ingredients like cornflower and arnica and it feels very soothing and cooling when it goes on. It also sinks in quick so make-up's ready to go on. It doesn't smell that nice, which put me off a little but overall, it was an enjoyable experience, so I'd give this 4 out of 5.

 NATORIGIN FACE POWDER

 I've been interested in French brand NatOrigin since their mascara and eyeliner featured in the LL beauty box. Although their products don't look that exciting to me, I'd say they were a dark horse because this powder is probably the best natural powder I've ever used.

It contains argan oil, arctic raspberry seed oil and rosemary amongst other things. It's a perfect match for me colour wise and it goes on beautifully with a brush. It wasn't drying, it set make-up well and it lasted. I'd use this again and again without needing to look elsewhere. However, it's not cheap at £26.25, although it does go a long way and lasted way longer than a month.

NatOrigin are approved by AllergyUK and have previously won at the Free From Skincare Awards.

ESSE HAND CREAM

This was an extra product sent by LL for review. Being a huge fan of Esse's chocolate face scrub (you could honestly eat it for dessert), I looked forward to trying it. I had mixed feelings towards it. It's chock full of great oils and its main ingredient is rooibos. It was thick and had a handy stick in the tube to stop those annoying manky bits collecting around the neck. It felt great going on and was non-greasy. The downside was that I didn't like the smell. I know I always make a really big thing of scent on here and if it smells bad, it is enough to completely put me off products, but that's just me. 

Despite the smell of this though, I compromised and used it at night time as an intensive treat just before I went to sleep. It's very moisturising and effective but it's not something I would buy again, plus there are so many zero waste options that there's no need to use hand cream in tubes anymore.
