August Empties - Madara, Botanicals, Chirp Body and more

Here are the products I've been using last month.

BOTANICALS CALMING BODY LOTION*

Soil Association certified, vegan company Botanicals make this lotion infused with lavender, calendula and tea tree oil, perfect for dry, sensitive skin. Tea tree and lavender of course, are both powerful antiseptics, anti-fungals and anti-virals and I've been a big fan of both since I was a teenager. These make the lotion a really good choice for summer, with their action against rashes, sunburn, mosquito bites and the like. It is also recommended by Botanicals for use after hair removal.

This little pot did around five sixths of my body after a shower. It was thick and soothing and my skin felt lovely and soft afterwards. I would definitely buy the full size.

CHIRP BODY SOFTNEST HAIR MASK

This 100% natural hair mask contains coconut, argan, olive, jojoba, avocado and lemon oils amongst others. It's a white cream, smells lovely and smooths nicely onto the hair. I was amazed at how my hair felt after washing it out. So soft and rejuvenated. This was a sample and I got two uses out of it as my hair is very short. I would definitely try it again.

BOOTS BOTANICS HYDRATION BURST GEL CLEANSER

It took me ages to use up this cleanser, despite using it more or less every day. Botanics are not the most natural of products when compared with other more expensive brands but I do like them. This cleanser left my skin very soft and feeling clean and I would use it again.

BOTANICALS CLEANSE AND POLISH

I reviewed this vegan 87% organic powerhouse way back in March and considering it was only a small pot, it's lasted such a long time, with two uses per week. You can read my review here Suffice to say it's my favourite face scrub of the year to date.

MADARA MOONFLOWER TINTING FLUID
This was a nice tinting fluid that blended really well and was a good match for my pale skin. There wasn't a huge amount of coverage when compared to BB creams, but I did use it on its own without foundation. By the end of the day, my make-up didn't look too good, so I wouldn't recommend using it alone unless your skin is perfect.

Aqua, Alcohol, Glycerin, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Rosa Canina (Rose Hip) Fruit Extract, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Camomile) Flower Extract, Plantago Major (Plantain) Leaf Extract, Algae (Algae) Extract, Stearic Acid, Palmitic acid, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Phytate, Aroma, CI 77019 (Mica), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (Iron Oxides)]
