Review: Botanicals Deep Peace Mineral Soak and Body Oil

Recently I had the fortune to try out the Botanicals Deep Peace Mineral Soak and Deep Peace Body Oil. Botanicals are a UK company who are registered with the Soil Association and vegan and I love their products.

I don't often take a bath due to time restraints but there's no doubt it's the ultimate relaxation tool and I really looked forward to trying this range out before bed.

Deep Peace Mineral Soak

"Revitalise your skin, revive tired and aching muscles, and soothe your senses - all in one heavenly scented soak.
We combine Pink Himalayan rock crystal (containing 84 essential minerals), with Dead Sea salt (renowned for its powerful healing properties), then infuse with a calming and relaxing blend of organic essential oils."

This mineral soak, as well as being a lovely fusion of white and rose-pink crystals, smells divine. Like the powerful melange of oils it is. I swirled some into a freshly-run bath. I don't know if it's supposed to dissolve, but it didn't, so just be careful you're not sitting on chunks of it when you get in, lol.

It really felt like such a treat to relax into the scented waters of this mineral soak. I came out feeling pampered and soft and ready for bed. I only wish I could make time for this every day.

Deep Peace Body Oil

"Botanicals aromatic blend of soothing lavender, rose geranium, sandalwood and marjoram, promotes deep relaxation, whilst enriching the skin with essential nutrients.

Massage into arms, neck and shoulders at bed time to promote restorative and restful sleep."

This is a lovely scented oil which really compliments the mineral soak. I found it sensual and soothing to use all over my body while my skin was still slightly damp from the bath.

In summary, Botanicals are offering the perfect escape in their Deep Peace products. A chance to wind down after the stress of the day before falling into bed for sweet dreams feeling deeply relaxed. Two great additions to the Botanicals range.
