Review: Organica Skincare

Recently I was sent two sample pots to try from Organica Skincare. They are a British company with 100% natural, Soil Association certified ingredients. Their products are all balms.

ANTI-AGEING NIGHT BALM (60ml, £30)
I'm not sure about balms at night as the last couple have left me feeling somewhat greasy going to sleep. I much prefer balms for cleansing and body care rather than facial moisturising. That said, it probably doesn't help that I pile on serum and oil before balms as I doubt they are needed with this formulation.
However, this balm feels different to others I've tried. With shea and murumuru butters and packed with essential oils, it's not particularly greasy and goes on well over serum and oil. It's very moisturising.
It's given me a pleasant surprise and I really rate it as a night treatment, especially for those who don't want to use anything under it.
Ingredients: ^Astrocaryum Murumuru Butter (Murumuru butter), *^Butyrospermum parki (Shea Butter), *Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, *Calendula officinalis flores-Prunus dulcis (Calendula oil),
Daucus Carota (Carrot) Seed Oil, *Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, *Boswellia neglecta resin (Frankincense) Oil, *Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Oil, *Cananga Odorata Flower (Ylang Ylang) Oil, *Pelargonium Graveolens Oil (Gerainium rose), *Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, *Citrus aurantium bergamia (Bergamot) oil.
* Certified Organic Soil Association ingredients.
 ^ Unrefined ingredients

ORGANIC BABY BALM (120ml, £20)
The baby balm is non-vegan as it contains beeswax. It's a smooth, non-gritty balm which melts easily.  It contains lavender and calendula amongst other ingredients and surprisingly for a baby product, it has peppermint oil like the night balm, but this wasn't a problem for my little one. His dry skin gobbled up this gentle balm. It was rich and protective and really lingered to keep him moisturised during the day. A total winner.
