BLOOMTOWN THE ROSE GARDEN INFUSED OIL
Bloomtown are vegan, cruelty-free and palm oil free. Their Rose Garden range is just delightful. I've used most of their scented roll on oils and the rose garden is my favourite so when I saw they were being stocked on Love Lula, I was keen to try another product from the Rose Garden. As I've mentioned before, body oils are a bit hit or miss with me. Butters are the best for my dry skin, some oils work for me and some don't. This one was a hit. First, it smells just like the roll-on. It's in a lovely spray bottle (mega bonus points for glass) and it's so quick and easy to rub all over after a shower. It's so moisturising and leaves such a lovely cloud of scent. It's one of the nicest body oils I've tried.
INGREDIENTS: prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) seed
oil, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil,
parfum, vitamin e (tocopheryl acetate), benzyl alcohol*, benzyl salicylate*,
citronellol*, geraniol*, hydroxycitronellal*, d-limonene*, linalool*,
alpha-isomethyl ionone* *occurring in fragrance and essential oils
I love that Bloomtown use glass bottles and this is a great size. The shower gel doesn't have the punch of fragrance that the body oil has. It's kind of a watered down version of the rose garden scent and consequently I didn't enjoy this as much as the oil. I also didn't find the gel particularly moisturising when used as a body wash so I'll probably use this exclusively as a hand wash.
It's worth noting that I contacted Bloomtown regarding their use of synthetic parfum in their products and here is the reply I got:
"Our priority is always whether ingredients we use are environmentally friendly AND safe for the skin/health, so we are proud to use a blend of natural and some safe synthetic aroma molecules. Natural essential oils contain chemicals, too, which often contain just as many allergens, so we prefer to look at the ethical and health implications of the ingredients use use rather than buzzwords such as "natural" which often don't tell the whole story. All of our formulations are completely free from any nasties such as parabens, phthalates, and carcinogens."
PLANTED SHEA AND COCOA WHIPPED BODY BUTTER
This is a new to me brand and the ingredients in this butter ticked all the boxes for me. I love a butter containing shea and cocoa and this is what you can mainly smell in this tub of delight. But there are other goodies added too - bergamot, lavender and others - which conspire to lift the scent of this to giddy heights. I can't stop sniffing it. It's a fairly solid butter which you need to melt between your palms. It glides onto the skin and melts well. It's a perfect moisturiser for dry skin and it's a sensual experience to use. Absolutely beautiful. 😍😍😍

ALTEYA LAVENDER WATER
Having tried Alteya products in the past, I wanted to work my way through their floral waters as I've tried their rose and white rose (the latter is my favourite) and I was intrigued by their others. I was very pleased there was the option of a glass bottle for this. Sadly, the distillation of the lavender must warp the fragrance somewhat as it doesn't smell anything like it and it's pretty stinky. I would liken it to Balm Balm's frankincense or chamomile hydrosols so if you're a fan of those, this will be right up your street. There's no doubt it's effective. It's so cooling and readies the skin for serum perfectly but unfortunately the smell does put me off. However, I will probably add a drop or two of an essential oil and carry on using it.

PACIFICA DEVOCEAN LIPSTICK IN TENDERNESS
I've been remiss in not trying Pacifica out thoroughly, being one of the more well-known brands on the natural and vegan beauty circuit. I've only used their lip tint (loved) and stellar mascara (disappointing) and really want to try more as they always get such good reviews. So I chose this lipstick. It's a great price with nice packaging.
I like little skinny lipsticks like this as they make for precise application. The bullet is soft and creamy and goes on really smoothly with good colour. Ordering lipsticks off the internet is always hit and miss for me but this one was pretty accurate to its picture. It's a little bit pale and pink for me (it looks lighter on my lips than it does on my hand and in the tube) but overall, I'm really impressed with it and I've been wearing it constantly. I'll be trying more Pacifica in the future.

MAY CONTAIN: MELIA AZADIRACHTA FRUIT EXTRACT, MICA, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, IRON OXIDES, TIN OXIDE, VACCINIUM MACROCARPON FRUIT (CRANBERRY) EXTRACT, COCCINIA INDICA FLOWER EXTRACT, DAUCUS CAROTA SATIVA ROOT (CARROT) EXTRACT, LYCOPERSICUM FRUIT (TOMATO) EXTRACT, AND BETA VULGARIS (BEETROOT) EXTRACT.

I love the rose garden scent shame about the hand and body wash. I'm currently testing out Planted and the products are oh so nice. That pacifica lippy is a pretty shade.
