The theme of the May Natural Beauty Box was Fresh and Fruity. Ooh Matron! Opening the box revealed the cheerful riot of colour below. 

KATHLEEN CITRUS CHEER BATH AND SHOWER GEL

I've tried a few Kathleen products before and the citrus cheer range in the roll-on perfume. It's gorgeous and the shower gel is no different. As it promises, it uplifts and awakens the senses. Skin is left soft and cleansed. A great product which would be better in glass.

BEN AND ANNA PERSIAN LIME DEODORANT

I'm actually using a Ben and Anna vanilla deodorant at the moment and I also received the Persian lime version in the Vegan Kind box this month. The lime smells even better than the vanilla, really crisp and fruity. Readers may know I'm a huge fan of citrus skin care. Ben and Anna are really effective and the packaging is absolutely 100% eco-friendly. The only issue I have is the stick can crumble when you are pushing it up and down and can lead to a mess but really, it's a small price to pay for such a great deo.

KATHY SUE-ANN'S BODY SCRUB

This scrub, made with minimal ingredients, is as pure as pure can be. I like a salt scrub because it's so effective but sadly this wasn't my cup of tea. It was pretty dry and smelled a bit of cheese. 😕 However, it left my skin feeling great!
Zero points to KSA for the plastic container. I understand some products are problematic when it comes to containers but it's easy enough to put the likes of scrubs and butters in aluminium tins.

BENECOS SEA BUCKTHORN AND ORANGE HAND AND NAIL CREAM

I love the colours on this tube. I've had a Benecos hand cream before and very nice it was too. This was just as good. It smells really good, it sinks in well and leaves the hands well moisturised - fresh and fruity indeed!

AROMANTIC ORANGE BLOSSOM HYDROSOL

Aromantic are an online business who sell ingredients to make your own natural beauty products and offer courses, recipes and advice.
I was probably most excited about this inclusion because I love a toner/hydrosol. Of course things like orange never actually smell organgey when they're made into hydrosols (I'm thinking of how disappointed I was with a lavender spray that didn't smell like lavender) so I wasn't too hopeful about the smell. And indeed the smell is vaguely antiseptic/hospital-ish which could be worse, so I'm not complaining. The bottle is very good and sprays just right and the hydrosol is cool and refreshing. It is of course, COSMOS certified. A great spray for summer, if summer ever comes (doubtful).
