The May Vegan Kind Lifestyle Box

Another fine edition of the Vegan Kind Lifestyle Box this month.

EAST BALI CASHEW POPCORN

Wow, this was really a guilty treat. And when I say guilty, it contains palm syrup. It doesn't get any guiltier than a product from Bali containing palm products. Apparently the team have created 400 jobs but were those jobs clearing rain forest?
Moving on, this is probably the tastiest (and most expensive) popcorn I've ever had.

SQUIRREL SISTERS RASPBERRY RIPPLE ENERGY BAR

This was like many other of these snacks, sort of sticky, date based and a bit sickly. The raspberry flavour is nice but this isn't my cup of tea.

BEN AND ANNA PERSIAN LIME DEODORANT

I won't be using this one just yet as I have 2 on the go, but I've used Ben and Anna before and enjoyed it, although it's a bit crumbly to apply and you usually have to use your fingers to rub in, which defeats the object of a roll-on somewhat. Anyway, this is a really nice smelling deo, so I'll be glad to try it and it's extremely eco-friendly in cardboard packaging.

FIID MEXICAN CHILLI LUNCH BOWL

Wow this was soooo tasty! I was a bit scared because I'm a pussy when it comes to spice and while this was a little bit burny, I still gobbled it up at work one dinner time. I'd eat this every day with ease.

TENZING NATURAL ENERGY DRINK

For some reason, I thought this drink might be minging. It really wasn't. It was fruity and refreshing and I really enjoyed drinking it at work where I always need an afternoon pick-me-up (usually a diet pop). I saw it at Tesco, so it's good to know it's widely available as I'd love to try it again.

POPCHIPS RIDGES

Full marks for effort (half of the fat of fried crisps) but the smoky bacon flavour was just not as tasty as other ones I've tried (I like Wheat Crunchies). It was too smoky and too salty. I wouldn't try these again.

RAW HALO DARK AND SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE

No prizes for guessing what I gobbled up first when I opened this box. Yes. it was the tiniest bar ever, but it was so rich that actually, it was enough. A gorgeous treat with the pink Himalayan salt giving it a certain je ne sais quoi.

A great box this month with several stand out products!
