Here's my thoughts on April's Love Lula Beauty Box

DR. BOTANICALS KALE SUPERFOOD MOISTURISER

I haven't used Dr. Botanicals before. I've heard tell their ingredients are not always the purest, but this looks like a reasonable cocktail. It's a nice light cream, sinks in really well before make-up and left my skin feeling really nice. I'd use it again.

DR. BOTANICALS COFFEE SUPERFOOD EXFOLIATOR

Another nice product from Dr. Botanicals. It contains coffee oil and walnut shell and like all Dr. Botanicals' products, is vegan. This exfoliator is good and gritty and leaves the skin supple and soft. A thumbs-up from me.

BALM BALM LITTLE MIRACLE ROSEHIP BALM

Balm Balm are usually an instant winner with me (well, apart from the stinky hydrosols, Rose excepted, lol. Although even the stinky ones are effective) and I use their fragrance free balm regularly. I also love the Beauty Balm for oil cleansing. This balm is equally lovely. It features the Little Miracle Rosehip Serum added to the 5 ingredient Balm Balm base. I've been using it on my dry bits - legs and feet - with good results and I can't wait to try it as an oil cleanser too, I suspect it will be great.
Note: the balm isn't vegan as it contains beeswax.

INIKA ORGANIC CREAM EYESHADOW IN CHAMPAGNE

I'm always thrilled to try a new Inika product and I like a cream eyeshadow. This was the perfect colour for me to use all over. However, I did find that it creased, even over a primer, so I restricted its use to just under my browbone. It's a lovely shimmery colour, perfect for every day use.

MADARA SAMPLES

The final three products were three goodies from Madara. I've tried the Fine Line Minimising Cream before and really like it. It's so soothing and fantastic under make-up. I got three uses out of the Cleansing Milk and found it had a nice scent and was really effective for a second cleanse after a balm. Finally, the mask is one I'll be trying out soon on a pampering evening. Love Lula are currently having a 20% off sale on Madara products.
