May Love Lula Picks

I chose two delightful products from Pacifica and Beatitude to review from Love Lula this month and LL offered me three more to try from Ayan and Glossworks.

AYAN MULTI LAVENDER BUTTER
Ayan are a new Bulgarian brand at Love Lula who have their own organic lavender fields. 100% natural with 99% organic ingredients, this body butter is made from just 6 ingredients - shea, coconut oil, lavender oil, macademia oil, vitamin E and beeswax (I didn't see this when I said I'd review it, as I always presume body butters are vegan).
It's a lovely whipped butter, so light and melty. It's not overburdened with lavender (more's the pity!) and smells more of coconut actually. However, that doesn't stop it being a fabulous butter, highly moisturising and soothing and definitely worth a buy.

BEATITUDE PEACE
Another new brand at Love Lula, Beatitude are a range of aromatherapy products, all natural and all in glass bottles. There are pillow sprays, face, body and bath oils, and candles.
This Peace room and pillow spray is to soothe and relax and contains lavender and frankincense essential oils amongst others in an orange blossom floral water. I love room and pillow sprays and I found this one fantastic. I sprayed it around the room before I got into bed and also on the pillow and bed covers and I found it really helpful to calm and soothe me into sleep. The scent is utterly delightful. This comes highly recommended.

Ingredients: Orange Blossom Floral Water, Lavender, Petitgrain, Mandarin, Ylang Ylang, Cedarwood, Patchouli and Frankincense Essential Oils. Contains *citral, *eugenol, *farnesol, *geraniol, *limonene, * linalool - *naturally occurring in essential oils

GLOSSWORKS LAST TANGO IN PARIS
When Love Lula had some of these to offer to bloggers for review, I was keen to try as I love Glossworks and reviewed Raspberry Parade last month here. This is one of four new shades at Love Lula, clearly for spring and summer. I haven't worn such an overtly orange shade before but I was so intrigued by it that I had to have a go. And the results are gorgeous. It's a bright, glossy orange, and with a top coat, it did me a good few days. A lovely fun shade for sunny days.

Ingredients: Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isobutyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride/Copolymer, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Sucrose Benzoate, Stearalkonium Bentonite, CI 19140 (Yellow 5 lake), CI 77891 ( Titanium Dioxide), Benzophenone-1, Barium Sulfate, CI 15850 (Red 6 lake), Butylene Glycol, Aqua, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Tocopherol.

AYAN ROSE WATER
I absolutely love rose water and indeed, anything rose, so I jumped at the chance to try this from Ayan. Zero points for the plastic bottle, but this gorgeous organic steam distilled rose water is a treat for the face and hair. I decanted it into a glass spray bottle as I prefer to mist my waters and save cotton wool. I'm really impressed with both these offerings from Ayan, what a lovely brand.

PACIFICA SOLAR MINERAL PALETTE
The find of the month is this gorgeous palette from Pacifica, who are rapidly becoming one of my favourite cruelty-free and vegan natural make-up brands.
It contains 3 cream highlighters on the top row, a blusher and bronzer on the second, followed by six shimmer eyeshadows. A complete package which would be perfect for travel.

The three highlighters

The highlighters are creamy and then go fairly powdery when you apply them. One is gold and the other two are different shades of pink. They're beautiful but they're very subtle and only provide the lightest of gleam on the cheekbones and other areas.
Bottom row of eyeshadows
The bottom row of eyeshadows feature a delicate peach, a pale blue-turquoise and a dark brown. The middle one is my favourite out of the palette. It's got a golden sheen to it and it's absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest shades I've seen in some time. If you want it fairly bold, it's best to apply with your finger, while a brush will give you a more subtle finish. The peach is lovely too for a nude look, while the dark brown has a hint of purple to it and is great for a bold evening finish.
Top row of eyeshadows
On the top row is the most wonderful gold. Really bright and bold this, again great if you apply it with your finger. The middle one is a pale pink, the most subtle and least shimmery of the six, which I've been using all over my eye before applying the darker shades. The final in the row is a brown with a golden shimmer.
In general I'd say natural eyeshadow shades are sadly a bit pants. They're fairly dull and tend to revolve around brown. These gorgeous shades from Pacifica are a breath of fresh air. They're great for both day and night and just six colours can create a multitude of looks and as I said already, I can't get enough of that blue shade with the golden glimmer!
Blusher and bronzer
The blusher is a lovely dusky pink-brown, a really nice shade which is bound to be universally flattering. The bronzer I can't comment on as it's too dark for me and not something I'd use, being somewhat pasty.

In summary, I was bowled over by the quality and gorgeousness of this amazing palette. Pacifica continue to impress me. This is the nicest collection of natural make-up I've seen so far since I started on my journey of green beauty.
